My parents visited me in Durban over this past weekend.
They departed Cape Town at 20:45 Thursday 12th July 2012
They traveled inland, and arrived in Durban on Friday 13th July 2012 at about 14:30
I decided to name her Eaglet. My favourite gun is the Desert Eagle, Baby Eagle; its a fitting combination, because she is nippy and powerful for her size, like me 🙂
They stayed at Destinations 4 Star Bed and Breakfast on 34 Kensington Drive, Durban North.
It is really such a lovely place. The owner, Jenny Smith, really has put alot of time and effort into it. The attention to details is spectacular!
We did alot of shopping. They kitted out my flat. And the rest of the time we just spent quality time together.
Mom and I had sushi, a salmon platter each, yum yum yum! And father with his old faithful sandwiches 🙂
My mothership and I on our matching US laptops, HP Envy (hers is just a newer version)
I found this plant at the front gate of the Guest House. I think it must belong to the Venus Fly Trap family, as when you touch the leaves, they close and become thin, so fascinating!
NB: Please comment if you know the name of this plant.
We had such a good time of laughs and chats.
My father, bless him, takes terrible photos, we were laughing at him trying to navigate the zoom!
I am flying down in September again for the birth of my sister’s second child, so it wasn’t as sad to see them go.
Parents arrived safely back in Cape Town, yesterday evening.
They departed Durban on Monday morning at about 8:30, stayed over in East London at Halyards Hotel – right on the wharf.
They in turn arrived back at home at 17:46 Tuesday 17 July 2012.
Thank you parentship for taking the time, making the effort, and outlaying the cost of coming to visit me.
I MISS YOUS!!!
